Abstract: "Ecological protection and high-quality development of the Yellow River Basin" is one of the major national strategies. Food security and ecological security issues caused by soil erosion have attracted much attention. It is of great scientific significance to evaluate the temporal and spatial evolution process of soil wind erosion for improving regional ecological environment and sustainable development. This data set includes the annual soil wind erosion modulus data set of the Yellow River Basin from 2000 to 2018. The method of combining ground investigation with modified soil wind erosion equation (RWEQ) is used to measure the soil wind erosion, taking into full account the climate factors, soil erodibility, soil crust, surface roughness, comprehensive vegetations and other factors. This data can reflect the temporal and spatial changes of soil wind erosion in the Yellow River Basin since 2000, including the temporal and spatial dynamic evaluation of soil wind erosion and the evaluation of ecological environment quality.
