Professor, PhD Supervisor and Deputy Director at the Comprehensive Center of Chinese Ecosystem Resea
HE Honglin is Professor, PhD Supervisor and Deputy Director at the Comprehensive Center of Chinese Ecosystem Research Network, which is affiliated to the Institute of Geographic Sciences and Natural Resources Research, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and one of the CAS “Talents for Key Technologies”. He obtained PhD in Geographic Information System from East China Normal University, and was a senior visitor scholar to Chinese University of Hong Kong and University of Oklahoma. At present, I am engaged in research concerning ecoinformatics, remote sensing and geo-information system application, data integration of ecosystem, and models of carbon cycling. I chair a CAS pilot project “Simulation and Comprehensive integration of Carbon Cycling Models of the Terrestrial Ecosystem”, a CAS STS project “Key Technologies of Data Clouds and Their Applications of the CERN Big Data Center”, and three NSFC projects. I also participate in several projects under the National 973 Program, National Key Technology R&D Program and Major NSFC Program. I have published over 70 academic articles at Chinese and international journals and three book chapters, taken part in formulating one national standard, owned eight software copyrights. I won two Second Prizes for National S&T Progress, and one First Prize for Provincial S&T Progress.
