Abstract & Keywords
Abstract: Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are the new agenda of the United Nations to guide global sustainable development work. The correlation between the various goals, especially the correlation analysis of and research on the third-level indicator data, is of great significance for effectively promoting the concrete implementation of the sustainable development goals. This paper is based on the third-level indicator time series data of all 193 UN member states during 2000 – 2017 in the Sustainability Report 2020. After data preprocessing, and based on the degree of correlation coverage of the algorithm, we selected MIC and Spearman from Pearson, Spearman, Kendall and MIC for calculation parctice and obtained a total of 62 available indicator items, correlation coefficients and correlation directions of 1,766 indicator pairs in 193 member states during 2000 – 2017. This dataset can be used as the analysis data for the UN to assess the future realization of the Sustainable Development Goals, as well as an important reference for countries to monitor the completion of indicators and formulate relevant policies.
