Abstract & Keywords
Abstract: The dataset based on the Second National Soil Survey published by China Science Publishing in 1994, is one of the results of the Second National Soil Survey in Sichuan Province. On the basis of the national and Sichuan soil classification system, we sorted out a total of 25 soil groups, 63 subgroups and 380 soil types, and made standardized description and information processing for the name, code, attribution, distribution area, main characters, typical section, production performance of each soil type. Through professional informatization and supplementation, this dataset has 6 data tables, including system classification, basic soil type information and its distribution, typical section sampling site information, the survey characteristics of the typical section occurrence layer, its physical and chemical properties, etc. The dataset can be widely used for land degradation assessment and the research on environmental impact and soil carbon reserves, provide scientific support of great significance for the rational use of soil resources.
