Abstract & Keywords
Abstract: Zhongshan HF radar located in the southwestern highland of Chinese Antarctic Zhongshan station ( ~69.4°,~76.4°), one component of SuperDARN (Super Dual Auroral Radar Network), was built successfully and put into operation in April 2010. The Zhongshan HF radar is the only HF radar running in Antarctica for the Chinese scientific community, which has played a crucial role in measuring ionospheric plasma convection by using radar line-of-sight Doppler velocity. The dataset includes the data acquired in 2012, which comprises of radar rawacf, fitacf files and processed Range-Time-Intensity (RTI) plot. By using this dataset, researchers can carry out studies on polar magnetosphere-ionosphere coupling, high-latitude ionospheric convection, plasma irregularities and magnetospheric substorm.
