Abstract & Keywords
Abstract: Chinese fir plantation is one of the most typical community types in mid-subtropical zone. According to the unified specification of Chinese Ecosystem Research Network (CERN), and on the basis of long-term observation of litter on fixed sample plots in the field, the dataset integrates litter recovery amount and litter standing crop of Chinese fir plantation of central production region in Huitong County, Hunan Province in the period of 2005–2015, which comprises the dry weight of branch, leaf, flower and fruit, bark, moss and lichen and other things specifically. The setup and data sharing of the database would provide data support for understanding the structure, function and ecological process of Chinese fir plantation ecosystem, rationally making the management strategy about Chinese fir plantation, It can serve as background data for the study on litter in different types of plantations under the background of climate change, and promote the development of forest nutrient cycle, carbon cycle research and ecological service function evaluation in subtropical zones.
